A picture is worth a thousand words, and these days compelling images are needed for artists to promote and represent themselves on websites and social media. This workshop focuses on photographing indoors and outdoors with smartphone technology. Participants will learn basic photography vocabulary, how to use correct camera angles, how to photograph using natural light and inexpensive home-made equipment, how to use basic camera settings (like exposure, composing, editing, and cropping tools), and best practices to produce quality photos of artwork.
This workshop will be conducted via Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to participants prior to the workshop.
